Simple Change Screen Resolution

unlike ubuntu and derivatives, change graphic server properties (driver and resolution video) in mandriva is very easy.

1. run mandriva control center or configure your computer from main menu > tools > system tools

2. choose hardware > set up the graphical server

3. automatically mandriva system detect and install then configure your video for graphical server. and you can change by click on it for advanced configuration.

ok, langsung saja. soalnya aq tunggu-tunggu kok belom ada y ang mengeluh mengenai pemakaian repo mandriva 2010 dari internet, yang kadang nyambung kadang nggak. minimal dengan warning minta update database urpmi, kek gini. misalnya mo upgrade paket mencoder.

trus error kek gini

trus update deh database urpmi nya

tuh kan wis up to date

ok, bagaimana dengan smart ?

trus cari mencoder or pilih update

tuh kan ok ?

si smart ini juga isa digunakan via CLI alias Command Line Interface, dan gk hanya mendukung rpm aja, deb juga isa, dll deh…

1. Adding repository arsip.or.id

2. Install Zabbix Server
